2000s

2000- Team increases to five

At this time the team strength increased to five with the addition of an old friend Robin Read  providing support and organizational experience, helping to find races and events at which to run the innovative Bowlby MkII. 

2006 - Off to Wales

Finally finding a welcoming paddock, the M&F Racing Team competed in the Welsh Sports and Saloons Car Championship for three years, gaining significant track time and developing important friendships with, among others, Alan Jenkins.

Happily for the Team, moves were afoot within Wales, under the guidance of Alan Jenkins, to start an Open Sports Car Championship. This was intended to allow considerable freedom of design and construction provided that the cars meet a few basic standards and raced in designated engine capacity classes.
